I am very pleased to be
giving a brief talk on drawing at Ignite Bristol on Friday 1st June.
The focus will be a series of recent drawings completed while on location at
the Royal Academy, London, during the exhibition DAVID HOCKNEY: A BIGGER PICTURE
(see above). It will be a chance to hear about the working processes as well as ideas and themes around the work (drawing as reportage, drawing vs photography, the palimpsest, etc). Tickets available here.
