I will be leading a Drawing Workshop at Arnolfini, Bristol this Saturday, 12th May, 1 til 5pm.
The workshop will consist of group drawing activities including discussion around the current exhibition Superpower: Africa in Science Fiction, future scenarios, and ways in which images can be used to conjure up associations about our past, present and future. Using many different materials including watercolour, gouache, pencil and pens, and drawing inspiration from art from the African continent, we will create our own fictions and imaginary landscapes. For those who can't stay the whole day, there will be a series of drop-in activities available throughout the day.
